'Fire' MV reaches almost 100 million views on YouTube
South Korean boy group BTS’ single
“Fire” is now close to reaching the 100 million view mark on YouTube!
Seven months after it was released on the official YouTube page of the
worldwide K-POP Channel 1theK, “Fire” has reached a total of over 90,500,000
views on YouTube video-sharing platform, says Furthermore, it also gained
over 1 million likes and mixed responses in the comment box.
If the band will hit the 100 million mark, it will be their second time
to reach such prestige following the approximately 120,000,000 views of their
single titled “DOPE” which was released in June last year, says reports.
Meanwhile, the 40,000 tickets for BTS’ upcoming concert “2017 BTS Live
Trilogy Episode III - The Wings TOUR in Seoul”, which was started to be
distributed on December 23, was recently reported to have sold out already. The
said event will be taking place at the Gocheok Sky Dome on February
18 and 19 next year. It will be followed by a world tour on U.S.A., Brazil, and
Chile.
Last November, the group have also held their sold-out fan meeting event
“BTS 3rd Muster ARMY.ZIP+” on Gocheok Sky Dome. Because of the positive
responses from their supporters, BTS was considered as the first band to have
“sell out the Gocheok Sky Dome twice in a row", All Kpop reported.
BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, was formed by talent
management agency Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. It is made up of 7
members namely Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
After they were formally introduced to the public, the band released
their debut album titled”2 Cool 4 Skool”. Songs included in the record are
"We Are Bulletproof Pt.2", "Skit: Circle Room Talk",
"I like It", "No More Dream" and "Outro: Circle Room
Cypher".
